Llys Gwyn is a Ground and First - storey building with stair lift access to first floor. It accommodates male and female residents in single and five double rooms with minimum requirements.
Bedrooms are perceived as the resident’s own private space and staff is instructed to knock before entering as a matter of respect. Each bedroom is individually decorated and adequately furnished to include a washbasin, lockable bedside unit and a bed, suitable to meet individuals’ care needs.
Prospective residents are encouraged to bring in personal possessions, small items of furniture and memorabilia so that bedrooms are personalised. Electrical items must carry a current Portable Appliance Test (PAT) certificate prior to installation in the home. The resident will be expected to meet the cost of future retests and certification. |
